Key Components by Grade Level
The SunAWARE™ program is a thoughtfully designed, multi‑level eLearning, tailored for students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, that blends engaging, age‑appropriate interactive activities with clear, evidence‑based lessons.
Grounded in the SunAWARE™ acronym: Avoid unprotected sun exposure, Wear protective clothing, Apply broad‑spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen, Routinely examine your skin, and Educate others, it empowers youth to adopt proven sun safe behaviors, and recognize early warning signs of skin cancer. SunAWARE™ delivers an accessible prevention message that supports healthy habits for a lifetime.
