Will Dreyer

Scientific Grants Coordinator

Will Dreyer joined the Melanoma Research Foundation in January 2026 as the Scientific Grants Coordinator. Prior to joining the MRF, Will worked at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), where he managed grants that delivered humanitarian assistance in communities affected by disasters such as drought, cyclones, and food insecurity in Madagascar, Malawi, and Zimbabwe. Will also served in the Peace Corps in Madagascar from 2014-2017, where he lived on the edge of a protected rainforest that is home to 12 lemur species and other unique wildlife! In this role, Will wrote and managed grants to secure funding for conservation activities to protect the forest and its wildlife. Willholds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Sustainability from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He now lives in Washington, DC with his wife Angela and two daughters, and spends his free time exploring DC's many family-friendly activities, where he gets so much joy watching his daughters grow through art, movement, and sports. He is also an avid runner and loves to explore the DC area's many trails.
