MRF Joins Cosmopolitan and Celebrities at Practice Safe Sun Awards

On June 8, the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) joined Cosmopolitan at its Practice Safe Sun Awards in New York City to educate women on the connection between UV-exposure and skin cancer.  Some of honorees included actresses Kristen Chenoweth and Kirsten Bell, model Marisa Miller, Mets third baseman David Wright, activist Meghan Rothschild, Cosmo editor Kate White, Representative Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) and Ellen S. Marmur, M.D., FAAD, the chief of dermatologic and cosmetic surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center.  The event was hosted by Juju Chang of Good Morning America.
