Apply Now for 2020 Medical Student Research Grants
The MRF is committed to supporting a broad scientific agenda and researchers at every career stage from established investigators and multidisciplinary teams to young medical students who are exploring an interest in melanoma science. Over more than two decades, the MRF and its supporters have provided over $17 million in melanoma research funding, including grants to 57 medical students studying at 39 institutions. Applications for 2020 Medical Student Research Awards are now open and will be accepted until November 5, 2019 at 5pm ET. These grants are in the amount of $3,000 for a period of one year. To be eligible, applicants must be a medical student in good academic standing at an accredited medical school or institution in the United States. MD and/or MD/PhD students are eligible to apply. Applications will be reviewed by independent melanoma experts and selected applicants will be notified in January 2020.
