2023 Miss Tennessee, Brandee Mills, to Emcee the 2024 Memphis Miles for Melanoma 5K

Memphis, TN (April 18, 2024)The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is thrilled to announce that 2023 Miss Tennessee, Brandee Mills, will be the event emcee for the 10th Annual Memphis Miles for Melanoma 5K run/walk on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Shelby Farms Park. Brandee will welcome guests during opening ceremonies beginning at 8:00 AM CT and kick off the 5K which starts at 8:30 AM CT. The event site will open at 7:00 AM CT.  

The 5K walk/run will bring together the Memphis-area melanoma community with a goal of raising $35,000 in support of critical melanoma research.  

Memphis Emcee

In addition to raising essential funds to support melanoma research, this event helps elevate public awareness around early detection and prevention of cutaneous melanoma and educate about rare melanoma subtypes. The Miles for Melanoma program also highlights the importance of sun safety and scheduling annual dermatological skin checks. 

The MRF team is thrilled to welcome a wide range of local presenting and national sponsors to the Memphis event this May.
