About This Event

There is real reason for hope in uveal melanoma right now. New treatments are becoming available, and researchers are making steady progress that is leading to better outcomes for patients.
While treatments like radiation or surgery are highly effective at controlling uveal melanoma in the eye, this type of cancer can sometimes return in other parts of the body. Adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapies are treatments given either after (adjuvant) or before (neoadjuvant) your primary eye treatment, with one goal in mind: lowering the chances that the cancer comes back.
In this webinar, a team of uveal melanoma specialists will walk you through the latest advances in this area and explain what they mean for patients today. Following a 30-minute panel discussion, you will have the chance to ask your own questions directly to the experts.
