Miles for Melanoma
What is Miles for Melanoma?
Miles for Melanoma is a nationwide series of 5K run/walks that allows participants to support and raise funds for the MRF by coming together in their community alongside fellow melanoma patients, survivors, caregivers and supporters. Miles for Melanoma events will take place in 14 cities throughout the United States this year. In 2019, the Miles for Melanoma community raised over $1 million for melanoma research, education and advocacy!
Check out the 2020 dates and locations below and mark your calendars for a run/walk near you! If your corporation or employer is interested in partnering with the MRF as a sponsor of the Miles for Melanoma program, please contact Lorrie-Beth Miley, Development Officer, for more information: email@example.com
Miles for Melanoma is thrilled to have Coolibar as our National Apparel Partner!
All participants who register online for any of our Miles for Melanoma events will receive a limited-edition UPF 50+ long-sleeve shirt from Coolibar Sun Protective Clothing. This Miles for Melanoma exclusive long sleeve t-shirt features Coolibar’s ZnO SUNTECT® fabric, a blend of natural cotton and bamboo. It’s super soft against the skin, lightweight, cool and comfortable with the highest quality of zinc oxide protection – the same ingredient used to block UVA & UVB rays in sunscreens and to treat mild skin irritations and burns.
If you have any questions about an event or the Miles for Melanoma program, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you at a run/walk this year!
