Jason Sessions

Florida

Jason Sessions is a melanoma survivor, business leader, and passionate advocate for skin cancer awareness and research. After being diagnosed with melanoma in 2014 — followed by additional melanoma diagnoses in 2016, 2017, 2023 and 2026 — Jason has been deeply committed to promoting early detection and supporting efforts to advance melanoma research. Thanks to vigilant screenings and timely treatment, including care at Moffitt Cancer Center and the Mayo Clinic, he is now melanoma free and uses his experience to help educate others on the lifesaving importance of regular skin checks. Jason is actively involved in melanoma awareness initiatives, spearheading #GetNakedJax, a community-driven effort focused on raising awareness about early detection and funding research to help find a cure for melanoma. His personal journey and advocacy work bring a meaningful patient and survivor perspective to the Melanoma Research Foundation Board of Directors. Professionally, Jason is President of Sessions Development LLC and has more than 25 years of leadership experience in real estate development and operations throughout Florida. He is also dedicated to community service and has supported numerous charitable organizations, including Best Buddies and other nonprofit initiatives. Jason earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Florida State University.
