Lane Vorbach

Operations Officer
Lane joined the Melanoma Research Foundation in March 2025 as the Operations Officer. She manages internal operational processes, drives performance improvement initiatives and oversees office management, operational and administrative compliance, IT and HR oversight. Prior to joining the MRF, Lane worked at a large health system, initially in Project Management, and eventually transitioned into the Manager of a mobile health clinic that provided primary care at no cost to uninsured individuals in South Carolina. Later in her career, Lane transitioned to a software development agency, serving as a Product Manager. As part of her portfolio, she worked with a large health system in the Midwest to launch a skin cancer-detecting mobile application. Lane graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Communications and from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Master’s in Health Administration. In her free time, Lane leads an active book club and enjoys hiking, reading, true crime, cooking, visiting the Smithsonian museums and finding DC's hidden restaurant gems. Lane and her husband, Bryan, live in the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, DC.
