The New York Times Publishes MRF Letter to the Editor

The MRF submitted a letter to the editor in response to a recent article in The New York Times, “When Testing a Drug Means Withholding It.”  The article focused on the ethics of standard clinical trial protocols in the context of advanced melanoma.  One issue that wasn’t addressed in the article is that many patients are never even offered information about clinical trials as they consider their treatment options.
