The Melanoma Research Foundation to Host the 2023 Fort Myers Miles for Melanoma 5K!

Fort Myers, FL (November 22, 2023) – The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is thrilled to announce the next event in its annual Miles for Melanoma nationwide 5K program, bringing together local melanoma patients, care partners and survivors. This year we will be hosting our annual Fort Myers event on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at a new venue. We are excited to reveal that this year, the 5K will be hosted at Jet Blue Park! The event site will open at 7:30 AM, followed by opening ceremonies at 8:30 AM with the race kicking off at 9 AM.  

The 5K walk/race will bring together the Fort Myers-area melanoma community with a goal of raising $35,000 in support of critical melanoma research. We are also thrilled to announce that Local Presenting Sponsor, Dermatology Solutions, will be providing on-site and complimentary skin screenings on event day! Don’t forget to stop by their tent and sign-up!  

The MRF team is thrilled to welcome a wide range of local presenting and national sponsors to the Fort Myers event this December. Local sponsors include Castle Biosciences, Novartis, Pfizer and Dermatology Solutions. National sponsors include National Prevention Sponsor Neutrogena and National Apparel Partner Cabana Life
