Melanoma is the fastest growing cancer in the United States. With treatment options limited, melanoma patients face unique challenges in battling their disease. MRF works to educate and empower patients and their families to deal with the disease and by offering a wide range of topics, each individual has the opportunity to take away their own message, whether it’s emotional support during treatment or helping loved ones reduce their own risk. Additionally, Phyllis Farren, a North Carolina resident, shared how a zipper led to her diagnosis and her personal journey since.

Speakers included:

David Ollila, MD
Craig Burkhart, MD
Nancy Thomas, MD
Dan Zedek, MD
Patricia Long, NP
Phyllis Farren, melanoma patient
Donald Rosenstein, MD
