Melanoma Awareness Month and a New Look for the MRF

Dear Friends,

Today marks the beginning of Melanoma Awareness Month, a time for our community to come together to educate others and support melanoma survivors and patients. Starting today, you will notice a change to the MRF logo. The MRF board and staff felt that now, our 21st year, was the perfect opportunity to update our logo to better reflect who we are and where we are going as an organization.

At its core, the MRF is a patient advocacy group – we were created by patients and their families and friends, for patients, their families and friends. We wanted our logo to reflect that patients are at the center of everything we do. We are proud of the success the MRF has achieved and we look forward to our exciting future.

You may still occasionally receive materials such as a donor acknowledgements or envelopes with the previous MRF logo. These materials were printed in large quantities and are still available for our use. The MRF prides itself on being good stewards of your donor dollars, so we plan to use all available resources before having new materials printed. We look forward to sharing the updated logo with you at all of our special events throughout Melanoma Awareness Month.

Sincerely,

Steven Silverstein
