MD Anderson’s Hussein Tawbi, MD, PhD Named to President’s Council on Science and Technology
January 29, 2020 – Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump announced his intent to appoint MD Anderson’s Hussein Tawbi, MD, PhD to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). As associate professor and deputy chairman of Melanoma Medical Oncology, Dr. Tawbi would be the first internationally recognized leader in melanoma clinical and translational research on the Council. PCAST will include 16 total members in addition to the Chair of the Council. The first meeting of 2020 will take place on February 3-4.
