#GivingTuesday is Tuesday, December 1, 2015! Join Julie and Amelia in Supporting the MRF.
#GivingTuesday is Tuesday, December 1 and your gift to the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) of any amount will make a difference. In the coming days as you gather to give thanks, tell your family and friends about why you plan to support the MRF on #GivingTuesday. By giving what you can, whether it’s a corporate gift or the hard-earned proceeds from a lemonade stand, you support the brave families fighting this cancer like Julie Inlow-Muñoz and her six-year-old daughter, Amelia.
"Any cancer diagnosis is tough, but a rare cancer diagnosis is especially challenging. Very few people understand your condition and there is far less funding directed toward research. Since I was diagnosed earlier this year with ocular melanoma (a cancer afflicting 6:1,000,000 people), I've had '$=research=cure' as one of my mantras. I truly believe, with sufficient research funding, a cure can be found in my lifetime. That is why I am committed to working with the MRF's CURE OM initiative to fight ocular melanoma.
