Castle Biosciences Recognizes Skin Cancer Awareness Month through Its Support of Patient-Focused Initiatives
May 4 – The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is proud to partner with Castle Biosciences during Melanoma Awareness Month to promote melanoma research, education and advocacy while supporting the patients, survivors and caregivers in our community. This is the second consecutive year of the partnership, and includes support for two key educational and fundraising events.
On May 10 at 7pm ET, the MRF will host a virtual “Ask the Expert” webinar supported by Castle Biosciences titled “What do I do next: A roadmap for care after an early-stage melanoma diagnosis.” Pre-registration is required, and participants are encouraged to bring their questions about melanoma staging, sentinel lymph node biopsies, follow-up care and more. To register for this free event, click here.
In both the month of May and beyond, Castle will sponsor multiple 5k run/walks in the MRF’s Miles for Melanoma event series, held in communities across the United States. To view the entire 2022 Miles for Melanoma event calendar and sign up for an event near you, click here.
The MRF is grateful to Castle for their ongoing support of our community. “Our work to transform melanoma from one of the deadliest cancers to one of the most treatable through research, education and advocacy is made possible through the continued partnership of generous, patient-focused companies like Castle Biosciences,” said Kyleigh LiPira, MRF CEO.
