On May 6 over 1000 runners and walkers participated in the Miles For Melanoma 5k at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, California. Co-sponsored by Hillary Fogelson (PaleGirlSPEAKS), the wildly successful event drew a few Hollywood stars, including Vin Diesel, Sean Astin, and Jason Biggs.

Biz comes out for Miles for Melanoma run/walk

Though it's never easy to get anyone out of bed at 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday, the opportunity to give back for charity always helps — and the Miles for Melanoma run/walk at Universal Studios provided just that.

More than 1,000 runners and walkers participated, including Universal's Donna Langley, Media Talent Group's Geyer Kosinski and Vin Diesel. Event was hosted by Universal's Adam Fogelson and his wife, Hillary, a melanoma survivor.

Sean Astin and Jason Biggs handed out the post-race awards, and even after a hard run, Astin still had time to throw a sarcastic crack about the one part of the race no one was smiling about.

"I gotta say I'm really grateful for the hill right about now," he said.
