On Friday, May 8, 2026, the Stay Out of the Sun Run 5K event will take place at Cascade Lake Park with the site opening at 4:30 PM CT for check-in. Opening Ceremonies will begin at 6:00 PM CT. The 5K will begin at 6:30 PM CT with our Closing ceremonies to follow after all runners have returned starting at 7:30 PM CT.

Please join us for the 2nd Annual Save Our Skin Walk for Melanoma Awareness, a CommUNITY Fundraiser supporting the Melanoma Research Foundation. Registration begins at 8:00 am followed by a beautiful, educational walk in the park. We will end the morning with a celebration involving snacks, raffle prizes, and family entertainment. We are encouraging our walkers to form a team and ask friends, family, and co-workers to make a pledge. You can download a pledge form at the bottom of this page and bring any donations to the registration desk on the morning of the event. A prize will be awarded to the team who raises the most money!
